This is a continuing fundamentals class for children ages 6-13 focused on honing existing skills and expanding vocabulary.
* Children who have not previously taken the Beginner class but are eligible for the Intermediate class will be admitted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us here if this applies to your child.

About the Course
Student Profile
Children between 6-13 years old, who have
Successfully passed the Children's Beginner class OR
Are already proficient with all skills taught in the Children's Beginner class and have basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
What Students Learn
Improved pronunciation with tones though reading and dialogue
Expanded vocabulary
Listening comprehension related to new vocabulary
Teamwork skills by participating in games and other joint activities
Class Schedule
Weeks 1-3: Pronunciation techniques
Weeks 4-6: Everyday vocabulary
Weeks 7-9: Reading short excerpts
Weeks 10-12: Vietnamese folktales

Additional Details
Assessments will take the form of homework, quizzes and in-class games.
Class materials include handouts and worksheets provided by the teacher. Students are expected to use their own writing supplies, including paper, pencils, erasers, etc.
Class descriptions and scheduling are subject to change as class rosters are finalized after registration is closed.
